College Bound!

>> Monday, August 20, 2018

This handsome guy is off to college! So proud of the man he is becoming.

He's attending at Chandler Gilbert Community College. He earned a 2 year full-ride scholarship. It's called the Presidents' Honors Scholarship Program.

He is accomplishing really great things! <3

This month marks his 1 year anniversary working at Rubios. Not many teens keep a job that long. ;) He's enrolled full-time at school. And he's going to Institute. He is  preparing for a mission after this school year and should be getting ordained to the Melchizedek Priesthood in a couple of months. He's been working hard at some personal goals as well and he's proving he can do hard things! My heart is so full of gratitude for the man he is and all he brings into our home. My heart is full for the good choices he's making in his life. <3 It's a gift to me to see him thriving and and succeeding!

Mad Mini Skilz

Eli is getting pretty dang good. Those who don't know minis, this is less than an inch and a half tall. He did some awesome detail on Jared's Hero Forge mini.

Eli and Jared designed it and had it 3d printed. He painted it.

He is trying to get to the point that he can make money from it. Jared thinks he's already better than a lot of the guys that charge a decent amount. It is definitely hard getting shading and everything on that tiny thing.

Super impressed!! <3

Icey Pancakes

>> Saturday, August 18, 2018

I had made up a bunch of pancakes for the kids for lunch..cuz why not? :P Alayna and her friend Morgan decide to create a new invention with her shave ice.

It was some super sour flavor and I was shuddering at the flavor combo but...

 they liked it!!! LOL!!

Silly girls! :)

Alayna was invited to a birthday party for one of the girls in the Ward. Her mom texted this picture to me and my heart was full of gratitude. These girlfriends are going to help her so much in the next couple of years. They will go through a lot of ups and downs and life lessons together. They will be the sisters she never had. Strong female relationships are so important.

She turns 12 at the end of the year and will be joining the Young Women's group. She'll have even more sisters to bond and grow with and show her the way through life's challenges and joys!

Sister Kitch

Our Primary leaders are awesome! They get the kids involved and I love that they take and share pictures occasionally.  I love getting to peek into what they do during Sharing Time! :) Alayna won't be in Primary too much longer. She turns 12 in December!

Never Too Old To Learn!

Jared is a great dad! I love that he is willing to try new things for his kids. His first attempt at a french braid turned out pretty well! ❤️
