Alayna had her piano recital last night. She's been working really hard on learning City of Stars from the La La Land movie soundtrack.
Her teacher is in our Ward and happens to also be our neighbor. She has been Alayna's teacher for several years now and pushes her to do things outside of her comfort zone. This piece was difficult for her and she was expected to have it memorized for the recital. We all knew she could do it. Alayna always rises to the task. There may have been some nerves and a few tears but after some encouragement and lots of practice she showed herself she CAN DO HARD THINGS! I'm so incredibly proud of her! <3
