We finally have a diagnosis!
It's pneumonia.
Eli is still feeling awful. His cough is worse, fevers are still high. The dr. wanted to be sure that the E.R. didn't miss anything and ran a strep test, flu test and he got another chest x-ray. The test were negative but the x-ray did show he had some hazing in the lung. So he set him up with a z-pack. So grateful to finally be able to DO something for him. He's missed so much school and has never been this sick before. :(
Just to recap for everyone... 2 kids, 2 ER visits, 3 days hospitalization, 2 cases of pneumonia, 1 month! 😕
