Today Eli had an ultrasound to look around his abdomen just to make sure we've not missed anything. His symptoms haven't presented in a way that would make us think it was his gallbladder, appendix or pancreas but we just wanted to be safe than sorry. :)
The ultrasound also came back clear and so we are feeling confident that he really does have IBS. It's been a very long 2+ months of him being in pain, wondering what's wrong, going to so many different testing facilities, labs, doctor appointments but we are grateful to finally have answers!
He will be able to start the new medication tonight and hopefully relief will be right around the corner!!!!!! It's so hard to see your kids in pain and know there is nothing you can do to help.
