Last summer Walker invited some friends over to play D & D (Dungeons & Dragons) and he played the role of the D.M. (Dungeon Master). It was a bit of a challenge trying to wrangle everyone and stay on task, but it proved to be a learning experience for him.
This summer the Dad's jumped on board. Milt (one of Jared's BFF's from High School and a fellow gamer) mentioned his kids wanted to get a group together to game about once a month. My boys were totally ready to oblige and invited a couple of friends of their own to round out the group.
Here are a few pictures from the 4 hour...yes you heard me right...4 hour gaming session!!!
It's hard to tell who had more fun, the kids or the BIG kids..but it was a success. :) They plan to meet again next month after school starts and everyone is back to their routines.
I just love to watch these Dads share their love of the game with their kids. It was fun to see them teach them and spend quality time together. They both are really great Dads! :)
